In this week's episode, I had the honor of interviewing the amazing Bree Olson. You may remember Bree from being one of Charlie Sheen's "goddesses" during the time period where he was publicly dealing with many troubles.

In this week’s episode, I had the honor of interviewing the amazing Bree Olson.  Bree is a powerful woman and her story is one of survival. She has endured so much, and her resilience is something I truly admire.  I hope you guys enjoy this riveting interview, and that Bree’s story resonates with you.

Bree had a pretty traumatic childhood filled with poverty and abuse.  Her mother was schizophrenic, and her step-father was very passive. In order to defend herself, Bree lashed out.  This landed her in a juvenile correction facility at the age of 11. Once Bree turned 18, she decided to get her GED and attended Purdue University for a short time.  Unfortunately, the challenge of juggling work and school became too much, and Bree was desperate for money. So, she decided to try porn.

The porn industry has plenty of taboos, but Bree never really experienced them. She worked from age 19 to 25, and despite how hard the work was, she enjoyed earning a living and being independent.  She doesn’t wish to glorify the porn industry, but it definitely got her to where she is today.

Bree is probably most well-known for being Charlie Sheen’s ex-girlfriend. They were together while Charlie had a public breakdown, and discovered he was HIV positive.  The media totally ripped Bree apart, undeservedly so. Misconceptions about porn stars began to haunt her, and she had had enough. Thankfully, Bree was able to rise above the criticism, and move on with her life.

Now, Bree still has her fair share of struggles.  I mean, who doesn’t?! But she is certainly doing better than before.  Life is always going to have challenges, but the way you handle them makes all the difference.  Your story is so much more than what people think of you.

I sincerely admire Bree’s strength, resilience, and power.  She is an amazing human, and I know we’ll be keeping in touch!
